1 pound of dry ice maintains steady freezing/cooling temperatures for approximately 3-4 hours depending on the current weather conditions.

If you are planning to ship smaller quantities (1-6 boxes) it may be more cost effective to ship via FedEx. Cold Freight Services will handle all aspects of the process providing the appropriate shipping boxes, coolers, Dry ice, and gel packs.
